JLU- Startup Week 2021

Jagran Lakecity University was recently awarded the Diamond rating by QS I∙GAUGE, and became the 1st in Central India to achieve this feat.

 

The University showed outstanding performance in ‘Teaching & Learning’, ’Employability’, ’Entrepreneurship’, getting the PLATINUM ranking in these three, which were the main contributors for the overall diamond ranking

 

JLU hosts a good number of entrepreneurship programmes for students on a regular basis and the stakeholders of the institution indicated entrepreneurial aspirations and/or associations that can be attributed to the ‘JLU Incubation Centre’ that has incubated 5 business ideas.

 

JLU has many student/alumni run startups that are at different stages of their lifecycle.We have identified 5 of them viz. Pinakulo, Beyond Books Organization, Taalmell, Soqo and EarnYoung. Featuring one startup each day from 20-24th September, JLU has planned a grand event on 24th September 2021, in which these founders would be joining us in JLU SEH. The Chief Guest for the event is our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sandeep Shastri and Dr. (Prof.) Nilesh Khare is the Guest for honor.

 

To get a wider perspective for their Entrepreneurial Journey, JLU is having 3 seasoned Venture Capitalists joining us for the event. They are , Mr. Prabhanjan Dhotre -Srategic Advisor to seed and early stage startups across high growth sectors,  Mr.Saumyajit Guha – Vice President, PadUp ventures and Consultant at Value Angels Network, and Mr. Varun Varma, Vice President – Investment Operations, Lightbox.Jagran Lakecity University invites you all to join the event and learn more about our Alumni and their ventures.
